| General Information |
Blockboard with Okoume face is a type of engineered wood panel commonly used in furniture and construction. It consists of a core made from wooden strips or blocks placed edge-to-edge between two layers of veneer, which are then glued together under high pressure. This construction method enhances the panel's strength and stability, making it suitable for various applications where durability and dimensional stability are crucial.
- Machine jointed wood block core: we use high-quality solid wood blocks as the core material, finger-jointed or edge-glued, ensuring stability and reliability. Various species are optional, all of which are good in bending strength and nail-holding performance.
- Calibrated veneer core: thick poplar or eucalyptus veneers are used to enhance the strength of the block core. It's also polished to apply face and back veneer.
- Face and back: we use rotary cut Okoume veneer mostly as the face material. Some other natural wood species are also used for decorative purposes, such as walnut, oak, ash, etc.
- Eco-friendly materials: raw materials are from plantation and sustainably managed forest.
- Versatile applications: blockboard is suitable for a wide range of indoor furniture, partitions, shelves, cabinets, doors, etc. Its stability and durability make it an ideal choice.
