MDF, or Medium Density Firberboard, is an engineered wood product made from wood fibers and a resin binder under high temperature and pressure. The MDF panel sheet is a similar product to plywood sheet, but generally denser and heavier. It’s widely applied in the production of furniture, cabinets, doors, etc.
Plain MDF is the very raw panel of MDF without any overlays. It’s ideal for renovations by carving and molding. A big variety of overlays can be applied on the plain MDF sheets for more purposes.
