Rotary cut beech veneer is a rotary veneer product from European beech. The species grows widely across Europe.
Natural beech shows a pink or brown hue while gives a golden tone after steaming. Veneer surface exhibits regular and unique ray flecks. It feels smooth and medium hard. It works well with machines, glues and responds perfectly to steam-bending processing.
So far, this species is not listed in the CITES Appendices or on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. The plenty availability of commercial beech logs makes the species a very economical material for furniture, door and veneer production. FSC certified material is easily available.
